What is Arbeidskorting?

Arbeidskorting is an employee tax credit that reduces the amount of tax payable in the Netherlands. It is available to persons legally employed in the Netherlands (on a contractual basis). How much the Arbeidskorting amounts to depends on the salary. It is calculated as a percentage. The reduction of taxation by means of the allowance is made by the employer.
